Also known as the Pride of Andhra or Benishaan, Banganpalli Mango is the Indian state’s most popular mango. It gets its name from its village of origin, Banganpalli, Andhra Pradesh. 

This mango is usually in high demand during the mango season because of its honey-like sweetness when it ripens. The fruit’s skin is incredibly delicate and is delectable enough to be eaten with it.

The delicate skin contains large pores that ooze sugar as the mango ripes, giving the otherwise clear yellow skin its typical back dotted appearance.

We source our Banganpalli Mangoes from the Kadapa hills in Andhra Pradesh. The region’s weather and soil give the fruit a unique and yummy flavor. Other locations include Rajahmundry and Hyderabad in India and the Sindh province in Pakistan.
